Petition Drive
There are two ways to for Ned to get on the ballot August 8 - garner enough delegate votes at the May Democratic convention, or collect the signatures of 15,000 Democrats in support of Ned's candidacy. We are working hard on both.On April 26, we will launch the drive with trainings held throughout the state for petition collectors. We know the other side will seek to challenge every signature, so these trainings will tell you all you need to know to make follow the rules and make the drive a success.
Mark your calendars to be part of this historic event. Our petition drive will be the first statewide in many years, since Connecticut's newprimary law in 2003. We will use it as another opportunity to show that our campaign means business.
The drive is also a chance to connect with your friends and neighbors and share your thoughts about why it is so important for Connecticut Democrat's to select Ned on the August 8 ballot. We will email you the exact locations of the trainings and other information.
